The tagline sounds familiar doesn't it? cos it is. if u noticed, it's what WorldVision had been fighting for. a fight against the lethal combination of poverty & HIV/AIDS that destroyed the lives of millions of children. i got the opportunity to be a part of the One Life Revolution held at The Spring a few months back & my, life was never the same again for me.

i just love this reusable bag. got it from F.O.S for just RM5. i am not much of an environmentalist (although i do have a major in environmental science) but i pretty much care about the environment. even if u think it's petty & trivial, it's always the small things that count. like what i did when i bought this bag. i can reduce the usage of plastic, the non biodegradable culprit. just imagine if 10, 100 or 1000 people doing the same thing? while u're at that, u can be the centre of attention (who wouldn't notice this?) and yes, i'd rather go nude than wear fur (i know u're smiling,anne). PETA would be so proud..:)

i once read that if u crave for sweet things, u're actually frustrated. in a sexual way. im not sure about u guys but honestly, sometimes i do feel that way. don't tell me u guys never did. not even once? no need to be shy though, its human nature. *wink*

anyways, recently i got my sugar fix during unexpected times. when i was the least frustrated. bad, bad timing don't u think? :D

believe it or not, i won something from a contest we had at the office (u guys gonna flip once u saw what contest it was). nothing major but still im proud of myself. it's been a while since i last won something. wait, actually it's been a really really long time. the last was during my primary school years & that was waaaay back. enough crap, here's the prize. im still in disbelief myself. :)

me? 3rd in a 'Pantun' contest? ok, ok u can stop laughing now.

My second contributor for the unexpected rise in my sugar levels would be my dearest friend & fellow blogger, Ahmoi Chantek. It was really thoughtful of her to get me something during her trip to Brunei. Thanks buddy for making my happy hormones take me prisoner.

I'm currently listening to Matt Nathanson's Come On Get High and it suddenly hit me. What if i make a playlist to help the guys win the hearts of the girls of their dreams? It's not much but trust me guys, it's the small things u do that really counts.

forbidden fruit

after so long, that guy came into my life again.
not exactly life but more accurately, my dream.
he was the main character & i was the leading lady.
he was all over me, unlike in real life when i was the one falling head over heels for him.
we talked like we knew each other for years but when in reality, we only exchanged smiles and a few hellos.
joined on the hips, we were inseparable in that dream but actually he's someone's guy.
and damn! was frustrated when i found out.
but it's ok though, at least i had this dream.
maybe even just for a while, i can have a taste of being his special someone.
'cause he is the forbidden fruit that i really shouldn't try to take a bite from. or even tempted to come any close.
i believe in karma & i don't want karma to come back & haunt me.
i wish u all the best in life with her.
and one more thing, u can come around in my dreams anytime..;)

to apply or not to apply?

and i m referring to the credit card.

i've been facing this dilemma for a very long time now. i think it through but each and every time, i'm still at a dead end. should or shouldn't i?

for starters, my main agenda to get one is to purchase things in installments since i don't have much money in hand at a time to buy something pricey in cash & i definitely don't have enough patience to save a few months salary to get that special something i've been eyeing since forever.

besides that, the plastic is so much more convenient to purchase flight tickets online since they're much cheaper in cyber space rather than bought through the counter.

i won't be spending it like crazy though. that's a promise i make to myself. i know my limits on what i can & can not afford. most definitely i can't afford to be bancrupt in my 20s.

but another thing bothers me though. which bank offers the best in credit cards?

too bad finance was never my forte..:(
