wedding bells?

i wasn't sure what came over me when i bought this magazine.

it cost me RM17++ and i wasn't even a bride-to-be.

maybe it's because of how pretty Andrea Fonseka looked on the cover.

or maybe the articles inside that caught my attention?

or was it the hidden desire to finally settling down with that someone in mind?

let me be honest, it was all three. *blushing*

lately i've become a total sucker for romance & weddings.

i could spent hours flipping through bridal magazines & wedding photos.

i'd be picking out the gowns & ideas for a wedding reception.

and sometimes i even shed tears when weddings vows are exchanged.

honeymoon destinations? got it all planned out way ahead.

sounds pathetic u say.

maybe u're right.

but the word i'd choose is hopeful..:)

i tagged along lynn a.k.a ahmoi chantek when she bought a gift for her Cinta at Sony Centre last weekend.
and yes, i know what the gift was (for those who are wondering).
but im not revealing it here though, she'd kill me if she finds out.
u guys just have to wait for her Cinta's birthday like everybody else..;p

yesterday, i took a second trip there.
nope, i didnt get something for my Cinta (as much as i want to).
instead, i purchased something for myself.
something that i've always wanted all these while.
a laptop (with free mouse & upgrade. hurray!)
its not really hi-tech though.
not exactly the latest model in the market (and it wasn't Macbook Air. refer xmas wishlist).
but good enough for a light user like me.

i was silent before for many reasons, but mainly because of this.

i still couldn't figure out what exactly happened but all i know,

my eye was swollen beyond recognition.

and i was not gonna leave the house looking like that!

something straight from a Halloween Party.

like freaking Quasimodo of Hunchback of Notre Dame.

my self esteem definitely hit rock bottom.

if there's anything lower, i might as well buried myself there.

but that was temporary. thank God!

now, i can look back at that pic & laugh my head off.

that's why im sharing the pic here.

and yes, my self esteem is back on track again..:)

who had gone through surgery to remove her appendix.

yup, they are the ever famous fictional LITTLE MISS & MR MEN characters created by the late Roger Hargreaves.

i bought a few of the books for my sister back when she was younger 'cause i just love how the stories were written, morals and all.

but at the moment, im in love with their tshirts.

i just bought LITTLE MISS LUCKY from FOS a week ago & im in a hunt for more.

especially LITTLE MISS NAUGHTY.

for obvious reason.

last day of 2008

it was the last day of the year 2008 and the idea of spending it all alone was totally out of the question.

a good thing my friend zilah was free for the day so we headed down to Star Cineplex to watch the movie Bedtime Stories.

i'm not really into Adam Sandler but that movie was hilarious!

i kept laughing til my sides hurt & my eyes watered.

definitely worth the RM9 we're paying.

after the movie, our tummies orchestrated beautiful music asking to be filled.

the first place that came to mind was AYAM PENYET (across Dormani Hotel) coz it's the only place open at that hour & i couldnt think of other options becoz of the serious hunger pang.

so this is the outcome from waiting for the final countdown to welcome 2009.
